Most homes need to be H & F Steemed every 12 months. Even though regular vacuuming removes much of the surface dirt, remaining particles settle deeper into the fibers where their abrasive action can be damaging. H & F Steemer will attempt to contact you by phone or mail to remind you that it's time for your annual cleaning.

After Cleaning Tips

Allow your carpet to dry thoroughly. Drying time varies depending on weather conditions and thickness of pile. (To help your carpets dry faster, turn your thermostat up during the cold season, or turn on your air conditioner or open windows during the warm season.)

You may walk on your carpet immediately after a cleaning, but do not wear street shoes because they can re-soil your carpet. Please be careful not to slip as you walk from damp carpeting onto non-carpeted areas.

Wait at least three days before removing the plastic squares and blocks from under furniture legs. They are there to protect against color transfer from your furniture onto your carpet.
